Map of attempted kidnappings against women in Mexico City

In 2019 with the help of Alejandra Padilla, a data journalist, I ideated the creation of an interactive map to locate the risk areas for women in Mexico City and the State of Mexico, the cases came from shared testimonies on social media about kidnapping attempts that happened on public transport and the street. My ideation process here, generated by several social media reports, started with a brainstorming session I made in my studio and a desk research process of similar projects, After this I designed a survey on Google Forms and published it on my Twitter account. It rapidly gained notoriety and had more than 100 responses in less than 24 hours.
